    After a little hiccup in the kitchen, i was served a very nice ribeye steak, friends had the catch of the day and a burger, both were fresh and tasty. Did a lot of whisky tasting, of which veld & vine have an excellent and reasonably priced list. Didn't try the wine, but it too looked good. The staff were warm and amenable. It still has the old layout of the last restaurant(room for improvement there, could somehow get more of an intimate atmosphere. the layout is quite open and as a result you tend to hear everyone else's conversation especially as there are three tables laid out for larger groups) As the weather improves, meals on the terrace will be lovely. There is also a new lounge downstairs, which i also will be a much cooler place to hang out in the summer. Good quality, tasty food, with an interesting and varied menu to try out. I could see myself trying out lunch at a later date.

    Dylan gave us some incredible service. Really love the ambience and food! Those roosterkoek with the different butters was delicious! Such a nice wine list too . I can definitely recommend the line fish .
